Best tall boots for eventing?

Look into the new Signature line from Devon-Aire. Their Granada field boot is made in Europe (unlike Tredstep or Ariat, which are made in India and China) of Italian calfskin. Very reasonably priced around $450.[/QUOTE]

I bought a pair of these boots a few months ago and they are terrible. The zipper broke after the third use. They have dropped so much that they have become completely unusable for shows. I doubt that they would last a year of use. I am returning them to Dover when I get the chance.

I just bought a second pair of Middleburg tall boots. My last pair is going strong for over a year. They have been abused and worn on 5/6 horses a day. I could still show in them up until about a month ago. They were less than half the price of those Devon Aire craptastic boots.
