But that does NOT qualify as a trainwreck! That was entertainment. Trainwrecks go so far off course and get so many people worked up in a bad way that you just can’t help but watch in horror (or with a twisted sense of humor).

The first COTH trainwreck I can remember was the very twisted life and death of Seger, the mysteriously ill horse that apparently never existed. Can’t remember the screen name of the supposed owner…

Nokesville horse shows was a good one. A tiny update, I was at a funeral in Fairfax last weekend and spent the next day fixing fence at our barn in Fairfax Station when a friend called me to let me know that an incident at the Nokesville Park show grounds when I wasn’t even in the county has caused the owner of the property next door to “Ban” me from the access road to the park show ring. :lol:

You just can’t fix crazy.

And what on earth would cause Mod1 to go back to it two years after the fact?!? I would think the mods here would always have plenty of current stuff to keep them busy. :lol:

Seger was Musical Jumper’s real horse that she starved to death/let colic and die.

OK, I’m confused. Just who is/was this dizzywriter? and how did the horse name thing really start?

dizzywriter was a poster who got banned several months ago, I think? Personally, I thought she was hilarious, but not everyone did unfortunately. The name thing started with a silly thread, I’ll do a search for it and maybe I will be able to find it for you. Personally, I go for inane/absurd/ridiculous humor over people fighting and bickering.

Okay I found one of the ones I was thinking of. Do a search in hunter jumper forum for “daisy clipper”. (don’t know how to link it) There was debate over whether Scott’s horse Crown Point was a good mover as well as QH debates. I believe Filly85’ added to the drama. I had forgotten about her

JSwan, Trixie and I were on the right, second row from the front. We didn’t go to the reception afterwards. I’ll be baking molasses cookies in a week or two to take to Mrs. J and the barn.
