I’m late to the party. After 16 pages I’m hoping someone mentioned rollkur/LDR.
But that does NOT qualify as a trainwreck! That was entertainment. Trainwrecks go so far off course and get so many people worked up in a bad way that you just can’t help but watch in horror (or with a twisted sense of humor).
Huh? I think I missed that one.
As an aside - I was at the same funeral but had no idea how to find you.
Maybe that’s a good thing - as I’d hate to be banned from the access road too.
The first COTH trainwreck I can remember was the very twisted life and death of Seger, the mysteriously ill horse that apparently never existed. Can’t remember the screen name of the supposed owner…
Didya notice on that thread that it was edited again by Mod1 over two years after the thread was closed?
Dang.
Did have a pang reading about Maddie.
I’m soooo glad I’m on vacation for the rest of Oct. Thank you one and all:D
OK, that tidbit made me go read that thread. Wow!
And what on earth would cause Mod1 to go back to it two years after the fact?!? I would think the mods here would always have plenty of current stuff to keep them busy.

Seger was Musical Jumper’s real horse that she starved to death/let colic and die.
Right?
I have to imagine Mod1 must have been asked by a poster to clean it up? And who would stew over a thread for TWO YEARS and then ask for it to be sanitized?

IRONIC…
Here’s her FB page
https://www.facebook.com/Tiffany.D.Compton
and she lists herself as an “Officer at Indianapolis Animal Care & Control”
Just read post #266 out loud to my husband! Am laughing hysterically with tears streaming down my face- so is husband!!! Great post!!!
Unfortunately Seger was very real, and very dead.
Owner was Musical Jumper
dizzywriter was a poster who got banned several months ago, I think? Personally, I thought she was hilarious, but not everyone did unfortunately. The name thing started with a silly thread, I’ll do a search for it and maybe I will be able to find it for you. Personally, I go for inane/absurd/ridiculous humor over people fighting and bickering.

But it does say best threads/trainwrecks, so we’re all accounted for.
Craig Stevens
ditto!

OMG! MJ who killed her horse now works for Animal Control??? Those poor animals.
OMG…great thread. I remember so many of these…but then so many I have never even seen. How do y’all fnd the time to follow so many threads? I’ve got five threads open and I want to read each one, but dang…I’d be here for days.
[quote=findeight;5868250]Ugh… oh my yes, most anything she either started or got involved in degenerated into a wreck. And still waiting for the verifiable details of the QH competing USEF in the 3’6" or better today…

Speaking of coming back as an alter…she still posts occassionally, but she’s probably busy setting the world on fire.
One would imagine, totally without proof, the same person who was demanding internet apologies by post #8 of that topic.
I can’t imagine what was removed, though, the crazy just beams from that topic.
JSwan, Trixie and I were on the right, second row from the front. We didn’t go to the reception afterwards. I’ll be baking molasses cookies in a week or two to take to Mrs. J and the barn.
