Looking to buy a muck basket sized tub for soaking/icing front legs at the track- the muck tubs are too brittle, anyone know where we can find something a little more rubbery? TIA
I think the ‘tub trug’ type is more flexible. Not sure it would hold up to a shod horse though. Or if it would be tall enough.
If I really needed to get ice water on the legs I’d probably spring for the Jack’s big rubber boots. (Just looked it up and I didn’t realize they came with a motor / are ‘whirlpool boots’ – maybe they sell just the boots?)
If you just need ice and not water there is another model that buckles around the pastern.

If you have a hose, I have these for soaking https://equinetextiles.com/products/leg-soakers. I don’t have any advice for tubs for icing front legs, I bought icehorse wraps to make my life easier.
I’m not sure my guys would stand in any bucket that was taller than a feed tub without freaking or hurting themselves. Standing still isn’t one of their talents when they’re injured lol. Now when you’re riding, it’s their favorite gait  .
I used the 9 pocket boots and loved them.
The Dan’s muck tubs are waaaaay better than the Little Giant brand, if you’re really wedded to a tub.
These are the really good ones that we used on the racehorses: http://www.dans-saddlery.com/3.0/therapy-tubs.htm – I think Horse Unlimited in Rising Sun can get them. Or this: https://www.bigdweb.com/product/knee+tub+24+in.+high.do?sortby=ourPicksAscend&refType=&from=fn&ecList=7&ecCategory=100613 if it is deep enough for what you need. These are better muck buckets than the super brittle ones: https://www.bigdweb.com/product/manure+basket+top+quality.do?sortby=ourPicksAscend&refType=4&ecList=0&ecCategory= if you want to go that route.
