I need to buy spring shots for my guys and the company I normally order from raised their price on shipping. Has anyone compared costs including shipping? Who has the best deals?

Hey, just some feedback to take back to the head honchos (because I think you work there, right?) I switched companies from United Vet to Valley Vet this year because I found that Valley Vet carried Vetera EWT with no WNV. With a vaccine sensitive horse, I like to break them up as much as possible–but it’s tough to find that Vetera vax without the WNV. I would gladly take advantage of your shipping offer, but you guys also don’t carry the Vetera EWT.
I realize most probably want a one and done sort of deal, hence the vast number of combos. But there are also people like me who really want to break it up and are willing to pay a little more to do so. Maybe there just aren’t enough of us to stock it, and that’s why it’s so hard to come by…but I also can’t give you the business if you don’t have the product I’m looking for

Merck and BIVI are the only vaccines I personally use.
I ordered my vaccines from santa Cruz. I do the 5 way ,west Nile. Then vet does rabies. Horse has a reaction to vaccines. Sore neck huge swelling where vaccines were given. Find reaction is less if horse gets worked day vaccines are given.
Nifty, thanks Yeah, realize you can’t carry EVERYTHING. Unfortunately, Vetera is the only brand that works for my touchy one. No reaction with it at all! Does really limit what I can use and where I can get it from, through. :yes:
Ordered a 6 way from Valley Vet for $41 and picked up the Potomac/ Rabies combo from Heartland Vet supply for like $18? I ordered single doses of each as I only have two horses and I’m probably the only person at my barn who does their own shots (and saves like $150 per horse). I did order other things (spring wormer, needles, syringes, and a supplement) split between the two so I believe I got free shipping from VV and maybe also from Heartland?

Jeffers has rabies vaccine (if you are in states that allow you to order it) and they have a $49 minimum for free shipping. I have gotten my rabies vaccine from them for years. It arrives in good condition as long as I remember to order in winter and not wait until the weather warms.A good percentage of the states you can’t order rabies. Where I am rabies has to be given by a vet.
Glad to see you’re vaccinating for WNV after all that pushback last year that there way no way, no how it was in your area. I hope you’re planning the two vaccine series, since your horses haven’t had it before?
@Simkie I got just WNV vaccines also ,to give second booster in 3 weeks. WNV was only one I hadn’t given.
