Best Veredus Boots?

So. Here’s a super brief version of my horse’s life story. I bought a feral horse unbroken and trained him myself. He’s an unknown breed from Canada, athletic with a great brain, but we didn’t think he would be that great at jumping, so he would be a resale. Then, just a few days ago, we put him through a jumping chute just to see how he’d do, and… he got up to 3’9 with ease. He could’ve gone higher but we didn’t want to push it.
I’ve got a jumper on my hands and I didn’t even know it. Before I start getting into serious training with him, I want to get some jumping boots. I’ve done a bunch of research and figured that Veredus is probably my best choice. I don’t have the budget for their 300$+ boots, but I can do the mid $200s for front and back. I’m leaning towards Veredus Olympus Absolute, but am wondering about whether they’re truly worth the money or not.
Any recommendations or information on any of the Veredus boots is very much welcome. Thank you so much in advance!

Just an FYI that if you’re willing to buy from Europe, you can get them a fair bit cheaper. I’ve had the regular Olympus for several years now, and they have held up super well. Pretty sure my barn just runs them through the washing machine after each show, and they come out looking great.

Thank you! Good to know. This might be a stupid question, but if I were to get them from Europe, how would I go about that? Is there a website to use?

I just meant like a European tack store. You’ll have to do some research to see who has the best prices at the moment. There have been a few good threads about the various Euro stores.

Awesome, thank you so much!

Here you go, just looked up Veredus on my phone here in the UK

And straight from the horse’s mouth

Please DO NOT use equus! They are scamming people left, right and centre. I have never used them personally but see their name cropping up daily in the horsy Facebook groups.

Hope Valley and Redpost I have used before and were good.

I have ordered from Redpost Equestrian and Amira Equi in the UK with no problems at all. They both carry Veredus boots and worth looking into.
