Best wax for fiberglass trailer top (Brenderup)

My Brenderup likes to grow lichen and moss on it. A trend I would like to stop given that I just power washed it!

Apparently there’s a difference between car and boat wax - what do people with experience recommend for a Brenderup roof? Type, brand, application?

Car wax is designed to protect paint used on metal on land.

Boat wax is designed for prolonged exposure to salt or fresh water.

Would 3M Marine Fiberglass Cleaner and Wax work? My neighbor uses it on his boat.

Label says it… “removes oxidation, cleans, polishes, and protects fiberglass”

Not bad ideas! I think boat wax and an angle grinder with a polishing pad is the way to go.

Next issue is the logo decal on the front is damaged. Can I remove with goof off?

You might also look at the products for cleaning and restoring fiberglass patio furniture.

It has the same issues with algae and lichen.
