Best way to keep velcro on horse boots sticky?

Hi everyone,
I trail ride with the Cavallo Simple Boots.
Rinse them off after every ride, but is there a way to preserve the velcro?

Do you re-velcro them?

Or keep the velcro open?

Just don’t want the velcro to lose it’s stickiness… Thank you

Various places sell it. I saw something similar at a recent ride where these were given out as awards. They come in handy for cleaning all your things with velcro closures.

Comb them with a flea comb. It is gets all the fine dirt out that keeps it from sticking.
