Biothane is made of nylon fabric and plastic. I’ve used a punch followed by a hot metal rod to clean up the frayed edges.

I use a drill… BUT, drill your hole in from the UNDERSIDE! This will give the top a clean hole, the bottom will be just a little rough.
I use a drill too. It works well and I haven’t had problems with raggedy edges at all.
I use a good hole punch and then clean it up with a hot nail.
