Best white breeches?

I need to get some new white breeches and am looking for recommendations.

Need to be durable, breathable for the hot & humid south eastern weather, stain resistant and easy to wash/clean and hold up to regular use and for god’s sake not get all saggy and stretched out after a couple hours of wear.

Would like to keep it under 300 dollars.

What do you suggest???

Love my Animos and Equiline breeches the most. Have many other brands, but those are the ones that have held up the longest (my Equilines are going on 4 years and my Animos are 5, 6, and 7 years). My Ariats and TS and assorted other brands have gotten too stained or worn to keep wearing. Not sure either of those brands are under $300, but definitely worth what I’ve spent on them.

I love my Romph white breeches. They are not see-through but are kind of thick which is their only drawback, but are 14+ years old and still in excellent condition. Wash extremely well, hold their shape, look good, and are full-seat.

I just purchased a pair of Tredstep show breeches from Dover on closeout that were, IIRC, 40$. Steal. Very breathable flexible comfortable material but a little seethrough - you’ll need white undergarments to wear them.

I haven’t tried the Equiline… will look for those. I saw some pants once that were completely stain resistant. I don’t remember the brand. Are the equiline easy to clean?

Didn’t TS advertise their white breeches as being Teflon treated, to prevent staining? I never tried them, but I do remember seeing it advertised in a Dover catalog.

My whites are Romph as well. I like how they look. But basically, pick your favorite breech and then buy them in white.

I LOVE the equiline breeches. They are not too low-waisted, durable as all get out. If you look on European sites, you can get them for around $300.

I also recommend when you get them to scotch guard them. It REALLY helps!

I love my Pikeur Ciaras. I have a few pairs of these in various show-able colors, including white, and I find myself reaching for them first when picking out my show clothes.

I love Ciaras for everything, too. But I bought a white pair and they got stained the first time out. White is just such an unfortunate color for this sport.

Maybe it was TS??? The sales guy from Farm House did a presentation, poured coffee and water on them and it just ran off but I can’t remember the brand. I’ll research TS and see if it is them!
