When there is a tie for any placing, do the winners split that portion of the purse? Say the first place horses, a 2 way tie, do they split the first place winnings or do they split the combined money off 1st and 2nd place?
If there is a dead heat for first, the purses for 1st and 2nd are combined and the two owners split that money.
