Bib martingale attachments in the US?

Does anyone know where I could buy a bib martingale attachment in the US? I’ve found several online, but they all seem to be from overseas companies (like this one: http://www.myshopping.com.au/ZM--1232348599_Zilco_Race_Bib_Martingale)…

I did find one on Amazon (http://www.amazon.com/Leather-Martingale-Racing-Eventing-Hunting/dp/B009K7O3Q6/ref=sr_1_fkmr2_1?s=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1379122571&sr=1-1-fkmr2&keywords=bib+martingale+attachment), but it’s not detachable.

Thanks.

You can find them in any racing catalog. However, beware that most are quite short…way shorter than I would ever jump in. The bib martingale also can make steering difficult as it kind of prevents the rider from using an opening rein. They’re useful on the track to limit some silliness, but I can’t see much use in them for a sport horse. http://www.bigdweb.com/Leather-Forks/products/309/

Any tack shop that has racehorse tack will have them.
Look for “rings” or “forks.”

eventeraj, check out pics of mclain ward on antares in London. bibs are very do-able at the very highest levels (although that one may be longer than a racing bib). He’s not the first to use them, and at least in the case of these uber extravagant jumpers at 1.6m, I can see the value of less straps around those legs!

ON response below. Yes and NO They are shorter because the chest plates they are attached to are longer so if you use the plate they are made for they are fine to jump in but the TRACK bibs have larger rings than many of the jumping reins and reins stops slide through the racing bib rings.

Secondly they have a HUGE place in safety in young jumpers and young stallions that can grab at their chests or play with the standard running attachments. If you have ever seen a wreck from a young horse grabbing a standard martingale you would know they prevent a lot of shenanigans. CWD and a couple saddle company make BIBS with perfect sized rings.

CWD makes one! A friend has a guy who likes to play with his running martingale, gets tangled, and then panics. It put an end to it nice…

Are you looking for something to school in or show?? I have several not in use…nylon or leather.

My trainer has one, we use it on green OTTBs.
I saw one at Horse Country Saddlery in Warrenton (awesome store) and bought it.

Thanks, folks! This is for schooling - I’ve got a 13 year-old green TB mare (former broodie) we’re starting up, and my trainer suggested a bib as an alternative to a chambon for now. So, maybe not the CWD…
