It does and I’m thinking I might need another one for shows because if it’s hot having a back up is good.
I had to wear front zip sports bras for a while after hurting my shoulder and I found that with pretty much all of them the zip rubbed me after a while.
My fav sports bra is Champion too! Nothing moves in that sucker.
If anyone gets one of these is a size 2luxe or a 3luxe, let me know if they work and how they fit. Thanks!
i always wear sports bras when i ride. there’s a lot of bouncing involved in riding lol.
also, maybe look into the “tech” show coats, the more stretchy the better. i have a spooks one, it is very stretchy. a tailor could also easily tailor a show jacket.
I, too, was intrigued enough by the site to consider purchasing one until I clicked over to the fitting tab and saw the picture attached to that one. The one girl in profile who has a chest - the center zipper is not lying flat on her sternum. At all. Which means uni-boob. So there really isn’t a big enough cup for the size of her breast. There is no way you’re going to control a decent sized chest with a uni-boob. I don’t care how tight you make the straps.
I bought my first Shefit bra with considerable scepticisim, but after the first ride in it I bought 3 more! I’m a 36DD and this bra is absolutely the most comfortable bra I have ever worn. Doesn’t create the often desired look, by it sure keeps them under control and comfortable! Edited to add that I have a riding friend in a 2 Luxe, and a newly converted riding friend in a 3 Luxe.
I thought that too - until I bit the bullet and tried one.
I recently got one of these and quite like it. I have a large chest (DDD/E/F cups) paired with a smaller rib cage (34 carrying a bit of extra weight, 32 when I’m more slim). The ability to get the needed cup size and customize the band size down is great. The cups are fairly supportive, as well. It does NOT provide the separation that a “standard” bra does, at least not at my size, but it doesn’t give a uniboob look either.
It’s not my favorite for trying to sit my dressage schoolmaster’s biggest gaits, but is fine for more casual riding. For serious dressaage days, I still prefer something like the Enell that just locks the girls down. For those with less bodacious tatas, the Shefit bra might be an awesome riding choice.
On the OP’s jacket question, I’ve always had to buy to fit the boobage and alter elsewhere. I’m fairly broad-shouldered, so don’t often have to have that more costly alteration, but I always have to have the waist taken in.
I LOVE this coat!!! It is the only coat that has actually fit me with no large gap and because of the zipper and the buttons I don’t fear that my boobs are going to break it as I trot down centerline. It is also cheap (compared to most) and machine washable. I did have to get the sleeves adjusted but that was a $12 alteration. I have had this coat for several years and get lots on compliments on it!!!
True story: Circa 2001, a friend and I entered a tandem class at a show. We were supposed to wear matching polo shirts, but she forgot hers. It was close to 100 degrees, so neither of us were really interested in putting on hunt coats and shirts again…we wound up riding in matching low-cut tank tops that she happened to have packed.
There was boobage.
So much boobage, in fact that even now, almost 20 years later, people still talk about those tank tops while the tandem class is running at that particular show.
You can make an impression, that’s for darn sure.
