I purchased my Greater Swiss Mountain Dog almost 3 years ago now from a breeder near the Niagara Falls area. She started the raw dog food company Big Country Raw 12 years ago but sold it just before I purchased my pup (Big Country’s Harley Davidson aka Harley) as her breeding business was getting very busy and the raw dog food company was growing and growing. Only so much time in the day!
Harley was weaned right onto raw food and when I picked her up, I was given a few weeks supply of Big Country Raw’s food and a small lesson on raw feeding, but I didn’t really think much of it. I continued feeding it to her, reached out many times to her breeder on FB asking 1,000,000 questions as I have never fed raw before, so she pointed me in the right direction.
She was always kind to me and answered everything she could. Such a great person and breeder. I couldn’t be happier and prouder for her for winning the award. Big Country Raw is also one of Canada’s fastest growing companies!
