My massive orange and white cat has a hugely swollen lower jaw. I would have taken him to the vet today but my car’s in the shop. I was hoping it would be ready today but no go. Daughter is taking us to the vet tomorrow morning. He did eat his wet food this morning.

Kitty Jingles 
If BK goes outdoors he could have been bitten & that wound abcessed.
Or if you have another cat, a bite can do that as punctures close up with germs inside.
Long time ago I had an In/Out City Kitty.
He had a scab on his lower jaw that I picked off…

All my cats are 100% indoor. My other orange and white cat is an A-hole. They could have mixed it up. I’ll be glad when the vet sees him. I hate being without a car.

Jingles for Big Kitty!
Big Kitty is at the vet. Looks like an abcess as it had burst this morning and swelling had gone down significantly. He was feeling a bit better too. DD and my grandson took us to the vet. Not to brag, but my grand baby is the best little thing. Was in the back seat with yowling cat and not a peep from baby. Also my car is ready. Yay! So I now have wheels and can pick Big Kitty up when he’s ready.

Update. Big Kitty definitely had an abcess. Vet isn’t sure if a tooth was involved but doesn’t think so. Abcess was drained and cleaned and he got a shot of Covenia and meloxicam. He’s at home now and feeling much better. He went straight to the food bowl and began chowing down.
