Bio Sponge or?

Does anyone know if there is a place one can order this product in Canada? Summit Vet is listed on the Platinum website but only a vet can order from Summit. Is there maybe a similar product?

You can order directly from Platinum. Not sure why that would be different in Canada. I just had a client order Bio Sponge herself. Hope that helps!

Our laws and regulations tend to be A LOT more strict than in the United States. We can’t even order vaccines or medications online.

Someone mentioned on another BB that they were able to order directly from the Platinum rep, Heather Smit, at Summit Vet. They didn’t mention if they were a vet, but it might be worth a call.

To be honest, I’ve used this product twice and it did NOTHING. Has anyone else had better luck?

Yes, I’ve had very good luck with it.

The vet hospital used it on my horse, in ICU recovering from surgery, to clear up the diarrhea. That’s my only experience with it, but, as the hospital is one of the best in the country, they must know what they’re doing.

I’ve used it before and it worked great. About 2 weeks ago, our pony got a little bit of loose stool (not sure what caused it), but one day of Bio-Sponge cleared it up.

Gosh, I am surprised there is not another similar product out there. I know some vets in the area use it so perhaps I will just get my vet to get some for me.

I also ordered it directly from Platinum. No vet required. Sometimes Valley Vet carries it - will they ship to Canada? No vet required for them either. I think even Amazon has the tube version. I keep a couple of tubes and a tub of it on hand for foals who get a little loose poop.
