I have to see if anyone on Coth has any experience with this stuff?
I see it advertised all over the place, yet reviews are hit and miss on it.
Anyone on here used it and seen results? The stuff seems pretty expensive.

If you’re interested track down the list of ingredients and the guaranteed nutritional analysis. I bet it’s just a standard range of amino acids ans minerals same as for farrier products. Maybe they have a speshul secret herbal ingredient on top of that.
Good nutrition will max out the horses naturally determined mane length.
I’ve been feeding it to all my horses for about 6 months. It really did add a few inches to my appys tail. Definitely worth a shot
What are the ingredients? And, did you track how fast the trail grew before you started feeding it?
Pulled this from the website:
Product Ingredients. (Source of Vitamin K3), Vitamin B12 Supplement, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Folic Acid, d-activated Animal Sterol (Source of Vitamin D3), Thiamine Mononitrate, Calcium Carbonate, Ground Rrice Hulls and Mineral Oil, Sulphur, Selenium Yeast, Artificial Flavors.
i didn’t track the progress, but within a month or two there was noticeable length and it continues to increase… he’s a typical appy and before starting it his tail didn’t go past his hocks… 6 months or so later it’s a little past his chestnuts and still growing.
I ballpark 1/2 to 1 inch of growth a month. With my horses, a few inches a month is normal. I’ve never had an appy, but I understand they are mane and tail challenged.
I bought it last year for my mare who has a long tail, but it gets very thin right after the bone, think a baby chewed her tail type deal…without the baby.
I’m up in Canada so I read all the reviews I could, I talked to a rep at Biomane, I did everything I thought I needed to do since it was a rather expensive purchase (I bought the 90 day supply figuring if I’m going to try it, I know to try it for longer than a month).
I didn’t like my experience ordering it, but that’s a different story and you’re not in Canada, but I didn’t notice a single change in her tail, mane, or forelock… I took pictures of the day she started it and after the 90 days and there was zero difference in fullness, and just her normal length growth,
Wasn’t impressed and would not buy again.
