Can a bite cause a deep puncture wound?
I had one of my horses at a friend’s house. Apparently my horse and another were fighting. Later they noticed a deep puncture wound. You can fit 3 or 4 fingers in the injury. I thought it looked like maybe he ran into something like a tree branch. I’ve never seen a puncture like that as the result of a bite injury. The vet said to leave it open and it is draining.
