Black Caviar has passed away

“It is with deep sadness that the Madden, Hawkes, Wilkie, Taylor and Werrett families wish to advise that champion mare Black Caviar passed away peacefully today.”
Black Caviar was undefeated amassing 25 wins from 25 starts over a four-year period from April 2009 through to April 2013.
She won in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and famously in front of Queen Elizabeth at Royal Ascot in 2012.
Our thoughts are with all who were connected with Black Caviar and those that cared for her.”
