Whatever happened to Blackfoot Mystery? I think he would be 16 now. There was a 2016 Wall Street Journal article that said the had been sold to a syndicate for $300,000, with an aim to the Olympics.
The horse did go on to the 2016 Rio Olympics, jumped clear xc with just a couple of time faults… and Boyd later commented that he was fairly green (paraphrasing the exact statement).
Fast forward to 2020, where is the horse now?
