Hey everyone, I got a new paint horse this summer and am struggling to find a sheet that fits. She has a big hindend, round barrel, big sloping shoulder but a really narrow chest. I just tried a Schneider contour neck sheet in 74 and it fit everywhere great but her chest was swimming in it and it was only about 3 inches above her knees. I also tried a 75 tough 1 sheet with the snuggly neck but the hindend was way too big !!
Try the Schneider’s Adjust-A-Fit styles, since you can change the way the front end fits by adjusting the neck opening. Those were perfect when my QH was a narrow 2 year old.
I second the schneiders with the adjustable neck.
I’ve also had good luck with the Pessoa blankets though those don’t have a heavy weight option.
