I will be relocating my Mare at the end of January from South FL to Virginia. I wanted advice on the best blanket to keep her warm since she is not going to be transitioning with the seasons.
We dont get much of a winter down here, and I dont want her to freeze once we move.

I would just treat her as a clipped horse. As far as which blanket to buy? You have lots of options, but they depend on what her turnout situation will be. Indoor or outdoor board? How warm is the barn at night? Will she have shelter outside?
