Does anyone know the difference between these two products? The Tech Wash is marketed for tents and waterproof clothing and the Rug Wash for horse blankets, but I can’t find if there’s a chemical difference between the two that would change the efficacy.
For my purposes the main difference seems to be that I can walk down to REI and get the one but have to order the other.
They look and smell the same. I have no idea what difference there is between them and suspect it may just be for marketing/sales purposes! I can get the rug wash easily at my local supplies place and use it for rugs and my own waterproof coats, etc!
