It will work out nicely! I could have sold these on FB or whatever but that’s just a nuisance and I’m delighted to help someone instead.

That is fantastic logic. Your colleague is lucky to have you.
I do have spares from my late gelding and outfit a friends horse at my riding barn and another cute old fellow at the other barn. Lucky they both wear the same size as my old guy!
There is definitely joy in rummaging through things (ahem, blankets) and finding use in things you didn’t think you needed anymore.
Maaaybe I’ll take a looksy tomorrow…

Share the blanket love! Cozy ponies everywhere!

I had forgotten how many spares I had until I started digging around. I’m sure at a least a few of the things I pulled will suit him. I’ll dig some more this weekend and see if I can find some spray on waterproofing to send as well.

i have decided as of today that i have a hoarding problem with blankets  i must have about a dozen of various weights for my retiree. my new guy is slowly accumulating his a good bunch of own. and then of course we get into coolers and scrims and quarter sheets!! i justify all my horse purchases by saying i must have a back up for if (inevitably when) something breaks or gets ruined …

It’s not hoarding, it’s prepping!

I did well at the Horseware sale and only got an Amigo insulator neck cover for under my unlined Rambo hood, and a Rambo cooler for wicking.
My friend was also shopping at the same time so we had fun sending pictures back and forth and asking for opinions on stuff.

Nice choices!

I got the Rhino Pony Plus 100 gram for the wee one and a 50 gram Supreme for the big guy. I’m not holding my breath that the Supreme will fit well but I’m crossing my fingers as the waterproofing on the Amigo XL line hasn’t been durable for me.

I did well at the Horseware sale too. I got a Rambo Supreme 200g turnout which arrived yesterday (at 9am) and then went back and ordered an Amigo Bravo 0g wug turnout last night when I discovered one of my sheets was less waterproof than I’d have liked. There were other things I liked but not available in size 81. My 75 (or 72 depending on the cut) wearing gelding has a large enough wardrobe so I didn’t shop for him. My wallet thanks me. lol
