Blevins buckles

Anyone know if I can buy a replacement sleeve for a Blevins buckle? I was tacking up tonight and noticed that the one on my Simco (which is practically new - I’ve used it only lightly even though I’ve had it several years) has worn almost halfway through from rubbing. Think it’s worth contacting Simco? The last thing I want is it coming undone while out riding!
Thanks!
Dee

I believe I have seen them at Paul Taylors in Aubry Texas… might drop them a line

I got a replacement on eBay, but any leather workers supply should have them. Many of my local tack stores carry them too.

Jefferes also has other Misc. repair items for Saddles and a good place for wormers and other Horse Supplies, great people.

.

I would contact the company and see if they will replace them for free first (hey, it can’t hurt to try, the worst they’re going to say is “no”!)

Blevins sells the replacement sleeves to tack stores, so you won’t be getting anything free. Not their fault you lost it or it got worn out!

Be sure to get the correct model sleeve. There is a narrow one for single hole, vertical spacing in the fender leathers, and a wider one for fenders with holes in pairs on the fender leathers.

We have an excellent tack store, so I would expect them to have both sleeve models. Maybe a saddle repair shop could also help you.
