Bloodline critique -prospect with E and G hnoverian lines

I am in the process of buying a young horse off a video. Horse looks to be an outstanding individual, but just curious to hear thoughts on the pedigree.

Sire’s side is Escudo I x Graf Grannus. Dam’s side is Gaylord (Gepard x Wettsreit) out of a Louvre x Amacook (TB, shown as The Party’s Over) mare. Is this considered a lot of G-line?
Here is the pedigree online: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/espino+prospect

The horse is quite typey with a very pretty head and neck. It’s a breathtaking hunter mover and is showing very nice form free jumping (just a small vertical, but the instincts are there). It’s a performance prospect (hunter) so I am judging the individual but curious what these bloodlines would predict. Thanks!

G line horses are known for producing some excellent performers, but can something be quite slow to mature. I also have been told the G line is known for being smart…

I have a rising 4 year and out of a G line dam, with Mannhattan (Furioso II line) as the sire. She’s lovely, moves very well, and has grown in a balanced way. Her brain is quiet… But she is VERY SMART, and remembers everything when training. If you teach her something correctly, she remembers it. If you go about anything incorrectly… she remembers it as well. Having the support of an awesome pro while starting her has been essential. Also, the fact that we are not in a rush to get out showing. I think by 5 and 6, she will be a VERY solid citizen and performer. She’s definitely a dual purpose type… Nice enough to be pointed at a dressage career, or a jumper career. Her movement is bigger than you would probably want for hunters… LOTS of suspension.

With both G line and E line, and further back with Lugano, I would expect a strong back.

I used to show against The Party’s Over and Louvre – back in the day  Lovely, lovely temperaments - both of them!

Thanks for the replies! I did end up getting her. Very excited!.

VHM, this one is supposed to be very smart too. I have heard the G line takes longer to develop and will keep that in mind. She looks very mature physically, but we’ll see how her mind is. I am in no big rush and we’ll go at her pace. She also has big movement with a lot of suspension in her gaits, but with a very flat knee, so it’ll actually be quite nice for the hunters.

Good to hear about the E & G pointing to a strong back, my current horse has a back that must be carefully managed so a strong back is something I will never take for granted.

Tuckaway, I thought the Louvre and The Party’s Over part of her bloodlines were really interesting. I had not heard of them before, but from everything I’m finding out it sounds like both were nice classic hunters from back in the day! Love it that she has a small amount of quality thoroughbred in there!

Catch on Fire, in the TB line, was the sire of a very good event mare for Karen O’Connor named Shannon, who was the dam of the current Harbour Pilot who is 4* level with Hannah Sue Burnett. Catch on Fire is Bonne Nuit line, so you have a bit of TB sport horse history in the mare.

The E line now is what used to be the original A line.

Catch on Fire was also the sire of Mrs. Whitehurst’s Laser that Mike Plumb evented.
