I have been a pony girl my whole life so I am not too savvy on AQHA bloodlines… But I came across a buckskin weanling and it was love at first sight… I’m hoping to have a handy sturdy, good minded guy. His sire is Badger San Poco and his dam is Hickorys lil lady. Just by looking at him now, I know he’s not my next hunter jumper. Anyone know what these bloodlines are geared toward?
Foundation bred working lines. Don’t discount how athletic this horse might be.

That looks like a cutting/cow horse pedigree to me. Should be good minded and tough, with a strong work ethic. With that much Doc Bar, I’d bet this one will be on the small side and long-backed, but not so much so that it hinders athleticism. Do you have any pictures?

Thafs a weanling? Usually we go to feeding lecture #1 with weanlings on here. Nice, got the traditional body with some nice leg under it. Love to see him every 6 months.

Sorry I am way behind. If you are still interested here is is 6 months later as a yearling. He is older now and I sent him out to pasture to grow up. Will be coming back as a 2 1/2 year old to start training.
