Can anyone recommend a low-key boarding barn in San Antonio area?
I’ve looked at the boarding barns that have web pages, and some look very nice. But I’m wondering if anyone knows of any ones that might not be on the internet? The ones I’ve found seem to be either aimed at beginner children or big breeding/sale farms.
My horse is a quiet 12-year old gelding who has been turned out dawn to dusk in ferocious northern Minnesota winters and mild summers - we both will have some adjustments to make. One thing that scares me is the phrase “some turnout most days”.
We don’t show or travel. He is gaited. We just putz around and trail ride. But he is an easy keeper and needs to walk around in a pasture for his health and longevity.
