My husband finally got orders (woohoo!) and we will be moving right on the VA/NC state line (Chesapeake/Moyock) this summer. Can anyone recommend somewhere to board around there within 20 mins?
What I look for in a barn:
- hay or grass available 24/7 is a must
- pasture board is a huge plus (or at least 12 hrs per day turnout)
- nice barn owner and laid back environment
- don’t really care about how fancy the barn and facilities are, great care and treating horses like horses is important to me though
