I’ll be moving to Puyallup, Washington soon, and would like some recommendations on boarding and dressage trainers in the area. Thanks!
Jessica Wisdom, Equi-Librium stables, is very good - and she’s NICE. We have one of ours there now.

Not sure how far you are willing to travel but… I am located in Duvall. [edit] 5 star facility where the horses are treated like royalty, literally. [edit] Please check out photos of the facilities @ www.ldf-farms.com call ahead and come watch us work the horses.
Sean

Jessica Wisdom (mentioned before)
I believe Lyndsey Anderson is now in Roy. Lyndsey’s info is on www.quicksilverbey.com
Erin Jorgensen is in Enumclaw I believe- really a great teacher as well as a rider
There is also Brooke and Kelly Irving in Gig Harbour
Seconding the recommendations for Brooke and Kelly Irving, and Caryn Bujnowski.
Thanks!
Thanks everyone. I’ll check these places out. I’m new to dressage, but have acquired a horse who has a lot of talent for dressage. We’re both learning (mostly me), so we’d be at Training Level.
I grew up with Brooke and Kelly Irving (not sure what their married names are now). Wonderful, wonderful girls (well, women now) who have the horse’s best interest at heart.
There’s also a gal who is staying very private in the Gig Harbor area (just across the Narrow’s bridge) named Delicia Molten-Sorenson. She’s originally from the San Diego area, where her father is still training horses through GP. She’s phenomenal as an instructor and trainer. These days she has her own facility and a family, so she takes on a very limited number of students, but I could get you her contact info, if you’d like.
A good friend of mine trained with Gwen at Donida and I used to go watch their lessons. I was really impressed that although the lessons were supposed to be quite short, Gwen would take as much time as necessary for horse and rider. She was very professional… and demanding… but knowing my friend’s background and her gelding’s, it was highly appropriate.
Lindsey Anderson is also in the Puyallup area as is her sister, Beth Anderson-Ness. I’m not sure what Lindsey is like for an instructor, but Beth, who is now based on the Key Peninsula and travels a bit is amazing with with riders and horses alike. She’s so sweet and petite that you want to put her in your pocket and take her home with you!
Good luck!
If you head out to Lyndsey Anderson (Lyndsey’s info is on www.quicksilverbey.com) pack up little Quicksilverbey for me and smuggle him out as I love him~!
A second for Caryn Bujnowski (I rode with her for over 10 years) and also Shaun Mclaughlin-Myers www.skmdressage.com
