Hi everybody. I’m looking for a place to board a horse around College Station. And if anyone knows any good Hunter/jumper trainers in the area, that would be great as well.
Thanks!

Unfortunately, there are no h/j trainers in College Station. There is a private barn that offers boarding and has a trainer come in about once a week for lessons. I have contacted them to see if they have any spots open.
There is a vet in Bryan who has a nice place. She events. The name is Leaning Oaks Farm.
And Broadway Eventing just moved into a very nice facility. Not sure if they take boarders or only clients in training.
Horse Haven is out past the airport and offers boarding. Their turn out situation does not look ideal to me but it is a place you could check out. They do have jumps in their outdoor arena.
What ever happened to Cedar Trace?
Cedar Trace was sold years ago (at least 10, I think) and became a warehouse for a plumbing (or electrical, but I think plumbing) company. They put a cement floor in the indoor arena and converted at least part of the main barn into an office. I’m not sure how much of the property went with it - I think just an acre or 2. I have not been by there in probably 5 years so not sure if other things have been done with the place since then. I work not far from that location so I should drive by one day to see what is going on. So much has been built up in that whole area - lots of apartments/townhouses.
I was actually boarding a horse there to have access to the indoor arena - it was about 10 minutes from where I lived at the time. We got all of 2 weeks notice that we had to move our horses! No big deal for me because I just brought my horse home. But, kind of sucked for the other boarders.
OP, I sent you a PM for contact information for the barn that brings in a hunter trainer for weekly lessons. They do have an opening.
Second for Dr. Marden and Leaning Oaks Farm…beautiful farm, and so nice to have vet techs feeding and handling the horses every day (saved mine from several issues ranging from lacerations to ear ticks to ulcers) and a vet onsite 24/7
