Boarding in Parrish, FL suggestions?

I mistakenly posted this in Off Topic - reposting here:

I’m moving to Parrish, FL from the NY area and I have no idea where to start looking for a basic boarding situation for an older trail horse or how much I should expect to pay per month. Looking for full care, I think I would prefer stall board due to higher temps and his age. Anyone have suggestions for specific barns to look at and any ideas on what I can expect to pay for board? Good care is of utmost importance. Thanks in advance.

Give this a bump for you. Parrish is in the Sarasota/ Tampa area.

I grew up in that area and still have friends there. My Mom also lives 10 min away. What amenities are you looking for? Do you need a trainer or are you just looking for straight board?

Most people in that area turn horses out overnight in the summer and during the day the winter, would that work for you?

I don’t have to have a trainer, and I most definitely am not looking for a show barn. My horse is an older, all around QH type who does a bit of everything. A ring with jumps would be nice. I have no idea of there are trails around there, but that would be my first pick. The turnout situation you describe would be ideal for me.

A very experienced friend that lives there says Krystal Kuhl and home run farms or Leslie Cox equestrian are good options.
