I may be moving to Savannah, GA and am struggling to find information on any eventing barns in the area. There doesn’t seem to be much of an eventing scene there, so I’m hoping some hunter/jumpers may be able to help me out I need to find a place to board my gelding for $500 or less per month. It doesn’t have to be in Savannah, but hopefully within a 45 minute drive. I don’t need anything super fancy, but I would like to find someplace SAFE with full stall board, an arena with jumps, and possibly access to trails. Too much to ask?
Look into Evermore Farm in Brooklet. It meets your requirements but might be closer to an hour drive depending on where in Savannah you are.
Good Boarding in Savannah GA
I moved to Savannah about 4 years ago. I am very happy where I am now, smaller lighted arena, great big jump field, and a full size dressage arena. Good 3 board fencing, lots of grass. You will have to drive to compete and drive for trail rides, but there are a few trainers who come to Savannah monthly (from Aiken) who event. I would love to have someone join the barn who was up for weekend trail riding and x-county schooling at Palmetto Bluff, SC/Longfield Stables. PM me.
Genevieve Edwards is located around 30 minutes from Savannah, GA. She runs a very fun and active program, they show often and seem to have a wonderful “family” yet professional environment.
Here is a link to her barns website:

Her barn is also on facebook, search Echelon Sport Horses, best fo luck!
Hey, not sure if you still live in the area. I am moving from Richmond VA so I am now going through the “locate a barn” search. I am a trail rider only so any info you can share that might apply would be great. I had not thought about looking in SC since I didn’t realize how close the SC line was to Savannah. Looking for the most bug free place possible with lots of trails. Thanks!
Look in Ridgeland if you want less bugs
