I am looking to move my hunter down from NOVA to Richmond. We won’t be doing any major showing, but would like to train here and there. I have had him on lease the last years, so I’ll need to get back in the swing of things. A low key, friendly, well run place. (don’t we all want that! ) Would consider working off board or by using him in a lesson program.
Stillmeadows Farm is located in Mechanicsville, right off the I-95 exit at Atlee/Elmont. It is about 20 minutes from downtown and 20 minutes from Short Pump. Sulu Rose-Reed and Derek Reed are the owners and trainers. We offer hunter and jumper training, as well as lessons including IEA and IHSA. We have riders who attend local hunter and jumper shows as well as along the A circuit. Sulu and Derek are currently in Florida with a group of horses and riders, but will be headed back after the conclusion of Ocala this weekend. The website is http://rtsatstillmeadowsfarm.com.
