The Mid-Atlantic Hanoverian Breeders Club, Inc. (MAHB) is pleased to present a very special clinic with trainer and top young horse specialist Bob Orton of Buck Branch Farm in Gladys, VA. Bob has been featured in an article on starting the young horse in the January 2012 issue of Dressage Today. He will be assisted in this clinic by up and coming handler Quinnten Alston. In 2011, Quinnten was awarded the title of top handler at Dressage at Devon.

This clinic will focus on exercises to instill respect in the foal/young horse, in-hand showing techniques and tips, and will feature an exhibition of the starting/backing methods outlined in the Dressage Today article.

Schedule for the MAHB Sponsored Bob Orton Clinic

Here is the tentative schedule for the upcoming clinic with Bob Orton. Late registrations are still being accepted and walk-in auditors are allowed. Sponsored by the Mid-Atlantic Hanoverian Breeders, this clinic offers discounted rates to MAHB Members as well as Pony Club and 4-H members. A sandwich lunch buffet will be available for purchase for $6 per person. Hope to see you all there!
