Specifically this model? I love my Schneider’s super cheap dressage bridle and have shown in it, but it’s starting to show it’s age and I would really prefer something with more padding at the crown. Horse also needs a contoured crown. Looking to see what people have to say about this bridle and if it’s well padded.
I have that bridle, overall it’s very nice for the price point. The noseband is very well padded, the crown is padded and contoured, but not super padded like some of the really expensive options. I didn’t like the reins that came with it…the front half is raised, making them stiff and kind of heavy.
I don’t have this exact bridle, but I do have a hunt bridle (from RW) and a double bridle by Bobby’s. Love them both for the quality. Can’t be beat at the price! I don’t like anyone’s reins except Nunn Finer Soft grip or Jeffrey’s bio grip reins. If a bridle comes with reins I put them aside and attach my reins bought separately. But that’s just me…
Nice thing about Riding Warehouse is you can order the bridle and if you don’t like it, they have a free returns policy.
Yeah I have a pair of Nunn Finer reins I plan on using so I’m not worried if I don’t like the reins. I’d really like the crown to be nice and squishy, but I don’t want to pay $400 for a bridle either. I’m going to Rolex and will be looking there, but I’m leaning towards this bridle! Thanks for the feedback!
I have this model with the standard noseband. The crown is well padded, but not super padded. I second the RW suggestion.
