Book recommendations for clicker training dog tricks?

My dog is lonely these days, having lost her lifelong companion 3 weeks ago. I am looking for interactive things to do with her when I am home to help keep her entertained. She enjoys walks but our neighbourhood is full of loose dogs, so that can get hairy. She is not the type to enjoy fetch (“Stop throwing my crap!”) or games in the yard that involve running around or roughhousing…she’s more of a dog-shaped cat ;).

Anyway, she loves the clicker work I have done in the past and I’m looking for a simple and easy-to-follow book to help me teach her some basic but fun tricks like shake my hand, pick something up for me, etc.

Suggestions are appreciated!

Awww no responses. I can’t remember the name of the book I was loaned so here are some web links.

Start with 101 Things To Do With a Box.

Thanks, Bicoastal!! Will look at these this evening and start playing with the girl. I don’t know how I didn’t come across that website. Looks very helpful.

Kyra Sundance’s books like 101 Dog Tricks. Not absolutely wonderful but pretty good and lots of ideas for tricks, anyway.

Learning Games by Kay Laurence!!! Some parts of it are aimed at stretching/flexibility activities and such for the performance dog, but the entire first half of the book lays out how to teach foundational skills for literally any trick you can think of. The book is easy to read, and gives clear step-by-step instructions for everything.
