My kindle price specials just popped up with this book,
“Spirit Horses” by Alan Evans. Just wondering of COTH opinions??
For $0.99, I think will give it a try…
I have read it! I got it as a freebie on my Kindle.
Since this was last year, my recollection is that there is a bit of horse stuff, a bit of romance, and a bit of drama. After I finished it, I thought it was okay. I would not have paid 99 cents for it but for free, it was okay.
I thought it was light on the horse stuff.
I read it and really liked it. It’s not high literature, but it’s a nice story. Make sure you’ve got the kleenex box close at hand, though. 
And, the author is a horse guy, so he gets the horse stuff right, which earns megabonus points from me.

I agree. The book has horses in it, and the main character is a horse trainer, but the book is about the people much more than the horses.
