Boot advice

Help, I need horse boot advice. I have a pair of Old Macs and they fit my horse fine, but they are clunky as hell. Cavellos fell off, and Renegads don’t fit my horse – his feet aren’t upright enough, so they are short in the heel even though his feet measure as practically round.

The boots need to be easy to get on and off. Any suggestions?

Easyboot Gloves.

Thank you!

Look at Renegades with the cutback option. They can take up to 3/8" off the length. My Arab has round hooves, and I get his with the “normal” cut back option, which takes 1/4" off the length.

We are using EasyBoot Gloves as well.

Recommend the power strap and the use of Mueller Tape to help secure the boots also, especially in mud/rocks and especially the hinds, which we had flinging off left and right without tape.

Good luck.

We recently converted to barefoot/booting and have our first competition in them next weekend. Fingers crossed.
