Hi guys, I need ideas on what brand of boots might work for me. I need square toes and most importantly ones that are very slim around the ankle. I have super chicken legs. O____o
My problem is that when I wear cowboy boots with spurs, my boots get pulled way off of my heels. There is no way to I can ride in spurs.
Any help is appreciated. I am sorry I don’t remember all of the brands of boots I tried, there have been so many. The last pair though were Boulets.
Thank you!
I bought a pair of “packer” boots for fun at a clearance sale. I ride English but thought they’d make a cute fashion item. They are like western boots but with laces so they fit very snugly at the ankles and would be comfy both riding and walking
That’s interesting. I’ve never seen anything like that. I have always ridden English and am breaking into the cutting world with friends who do it.
Will google. Thank you!

Justin have some very narrow sizes.
Even their medium is narrower than most other brands.
Thanks Scribbler. The visual helps.
I think I have seen Ariats like this?? I have am a women’s six, so will need to find women’s boots.
Thanks Bluey. Narrow for the ankle? I am a mess, medium/wide feet and chicken legs…
I have normal thickish ankles and I still find cowboy boots slop a bit when I walk and rub my heels. The Packers are really stable. But yeah I don’t know if they make womens or juniors sizes.
Yes, narrow along the heel, that is why they don’t fit me, how I know.
OK, thank you. I will find a place local to try them.
Yes, they’re called “Heritage Lacers” on their website. I feel your pain. I have a heckuva time with boots for similar reasons. For my tall English boots, I got a pair that’s a titch big in the foot and wear two pairs of socks. One boot sock, one ankle sock (or a crew sock with the cuff folded down so it’s doubled at my ankle).
Thanks Bluey, I went and tried on boots today and the Justin boots were by far the best fitting for me. Thank you again. And thanks everyone who had ideas.
