Boston Area Barn Schooling Program for Tall Rider?

I moved back to the area in September and started taking lessons at a facility that I love shortly after moving back. Unfortunately, I’m starting to get a bit frustrated. The last few lessons I’ve been stuck riding ponies. Needless to say I am 5’11". Although I like my instructor its frustrating to be paying over $60 a lesson to be stuck on a pony!

I would ideally like to find a facility within a 45-50 minute drive of Cambridge. I am an intermediate rider and am hoping to get back into the swing of things. Ideally, I would like to find a place where I could take weekly lessons and show.

Any advice or barn options is highly appreciated!

I’m not sure how much of a hike it would be from Cambridge, but maybe try Ridgetop Farm in Holliston (Allegra Valberg). Allegra’s great and I think she usually has horses as well as ponies.

I know this is an old post, but check out Hybid Farm in Acton. Also not exactly a super quick commute from Cambridge, but they have a great instructor and 27ish horses, maybe one your size?
