Does anyone have suggestions on exercises to do with one of these to improve your riding? I’ve heard them recommended but haven’t seen specifics. Thanks!
The bosu ball is great for overall balance and core strength exercises. Try squats – put the ball with the rounded side down, so it rocks back and forth. The farther out toward the sides you place your feet, the less it will rock. The tricky part is squatting with your core engaged and your weight centered and balanced over your feet (as you would want to balance on your stirrups) and without the ball moving. Strengthens quads, butt and hips, too. You can add weights and arm movements to create more forces against which you have to maintain your centered stance.
