Bottled water for horses?

Does this also apply to horses? Do the grooms have to fill buckets with bottled water in Rio?

The horses are drinking water that has gone through a filter. It’s not bottled, but it’s not straight from the tap.

This process is very important for preventing many diseases, especially glanders, which is transmitted thru contaminated feed and water…and we can’t afford to have it reintroduced in North America, Australia and most of Europe.

One dressage horse, Cosmo, is drinking bottled water as he refused the filtered water. They are calling him Gourmet Cosmo.
