Bought A Horse

I did not last long before relapsing. My friend and I are buying a horse together. The PPE is Friday, so send positive thoughts for that to go well.

He is a 7 year old Arab/QH cross. Short enough to make mounting and dismounting easy for us two old ladies and wide enough to take up a lot of leg.

We both lost our senior Arab geldings within a couple of months of each other. And I sold my Oldenburg late last summer. I just wasn’t feeling the stress of lessons and trying to keep her at a fancy barn and keep up with the competitive riders. This gelding is strictly for trail riding and maybe playing around with cows.

But I wanted to share with you, people of my tribe, that I will have a horse again.

Here he is! Knight Templar!

The angle stinks, but you get an idea. Black Rabicano and 14.3. Easy to mount for me and very careful and ride as out alone with worry.
