It used to have something similar on there that is beat up so I am going to sand it and apply this stuff. Anyone else? Makes the trailer much cooler inside.
I put Elasto-Kool on top of mine. I never did a formal test of the interior temp and I have only used it once since but I almost certainly helped reduce the interior temp. How could it not? We’ve known that painting roofs white reflects a lot of sunlight and therefore heat. To me, it’s an easy way to drop the interior temp of my trailer.
If you’re looking for detailed instructions (like acid washing, etc.) there’s a facebook group (something like Horse Trailer Conversions II - don’t forget it’s 2, not 1 ) that has a lot of ideas. I just washed it and applied, since my trailer was only a few months old at the time.
Joined the group. Thanks!
