Boyd Martin - 543
Tom McEwen - 540
Harry Meade - 537
Tim Price - 536
Ros Canter - 487
Michael Jung - 421

AT Badminton: Tom McEwen has 1 entered, Harry Meade has 2 or 3, Tim Price has 2, Ros has 1.

So I expect if these others do well at Badminton, Boyd will get knocked off the number one spot? It is a very close margin.

Good for him!!

The video he posted on social media showing his riding career right from the start is super entertaining.

Kent Farrington just topped the FEI list for show jumpers.

So for the moment, the US has the top riders for eventing, jumpers, and para-dressage.

Also, they posted an extremely entertaining behind the scenes video from the last day of Kentucky on Boyd Martin’s Facebook page. (There’s a little bit of NSFW language.)

Boyd has three going this weekend at Tryon so maybe he can hold on to it with good placings there!

He wins a LOT!

I was trying to find a specific photo of him in an awards ceremony recently, and I couldn’t even locate it because there were so many win photos. Lol.

He had a fantastic winter, every week it seemed he won a major class!

Was she calling the horse or the rider “Corndog”? cute nickname

Conner, the horse, is nicknamed Corndog.

Conner is my favorite of Boyd’s string of superstars.

I watched this at work with the sound off. I feel like sound is important for this one.

Side note - the next video down that Facebook thought I need to see is a firefighter teaching you something that will “save your life” - how to get out of being handcuffed/tied with horse hands behind you, around a support beam. …Facebook, do you know something I don’t? Is someone going to kidnap me and hold me for ransom?

Sound would definitely add a lot to the experience with that one, for sure. Lol.

Typically Facebook will show me videos of cute animals, which is probably a pretty safe recommendation.

Once in a while they will throw in something completely bizarre, so I always figure there is a glitch in the works periodically.

Do they not put out the updated list on the first of every month? I was looking for it a few days ago, and I didn’t see it anywhere.

Well I was curious so I looked at the points list and what points are counted towards the total. I think it’s based on the “best” certain number of results at 5* but at that point I gave up. Anyone know what the formula is?

It’s a complicated one and I don’t know it exactly but it includes all FEI events. Points are assigned based on placing and level I believe. Obviously the top people will have all their five star results counted because that’s what it takes to be at the top points wise.

It didn’t include all the points. If you go to the leaderboard you can click on their names & points. Top placing at a 5* is over 100 points. The world number one only has less than 600 points counting to this leaderboard: that’s 5 placings counting.
