I’m looking to have a couple of stall plates made, hopefully the mounted type. I would rather give my money to a small business/individual than a big box tack store. Any recommendations for places you love that you have gotten them? I will turn to Etsy if I need to, but am hoping to find a “tried and true” person/business that COTH trusts!

Check with local awards stores that make school and other trophies.
Our dog club uses one for the award plaques and such.
They can make you whatever you want.

My friend Jody used to do the engraving for Old Salem Tack before she moved to Texas. Her business name is “The Engraving Spot” Named after her beloved horse Tommy who lived to the very ripe old age of 42! She does great work:

The Tack Shack of Ocala Fl does great brass plates. Nice folks, really support the local shows and clubs.

i’ve been using these guys to do mounted brass stall plate on wood. I got them with chains that have a clasp so they can hang on my stall doors at shows. has my contact number etc. I LOVE them. fast turn around. ship to you.

Albrights. In KY. Using them for over 30 years. They make beautiful leather halters w name plates, excellent brass hardware, matching lead shanks, etc. dog leads and collars. Work is impeccable and indestructible. See their website. They will make your stall plates.
