I recently purchased a flat hunting breast plate with standing attachment (entry-level Bobby’s). My plan had been to use the breastplate snaps I had hanging around in my tack box to attach it to my saddle and to attach the martingale strap to the breast plate. However, when I tried to feed the straps through, I found that they were too wide. Has this happened to anyone else? Any suggestions? Possible to find 3/4" wide slot rather than the more common 5/8"? I’m not coming up with much.
A hardware store should have them. Tractor Supply probably would too.
