Breeches Help - Sand or Beige?

I am attempting to order some Samshield breeches online. I have been out of the show scene for a few years but I have Samshield schooling breeches and I LOVE them.

I cannot tell which color I am supposed to buy online. The clotilde breech is beige but it looks super light and then the Chloe and Adele have a sand color.

Which is more appropriate for the show ring for the hunters?

TIA!

Styles change in the hunter ring on a regular basis. Either you follow the fashion, or you set your own fashion. If you want to follow the fashion, you will be making trips to the tack shops and making online orders often, as “fashion” changes in order to encourage retail successes. If you set your own fashion, it’s more affordable. Either buy whichever colour you like best, or buy them both… then you’ll have a clean set of breeches at a multiple day horse show. There is no “right” and “wrong” colouir.

Either would be just fine

Thank you for this, however, I think my main concern stems from purchasing online because I have heard that the coloring can be different in person.

I just want to make sure “sand” is a legal show color before I shell out the money and then it shows up more as a brown.

But I agree with you otherwise, I definitely don’t have the funds to blow they way the fashion goes and that’s why I want to make sure I buy the right color pants the first time

So long as you don’t go for the “puke green” breeches of the early 2000s, you’ll be fine with tan, beige, sand or whatever.
