Things like that is why I took a long break from watching racing, only got back into jt this year. I hope he’s ok

He’s gone. So sad.

Well, that sucks all the fun out of the day. Makes me question wanting to watch again

I watched Jayarebe and his team at Ascot this past June. His trainer really loves him.

Oh no that is horrible.

I am guessing it was a ruptured aorta ala Hickstead

Why is the Classic being run before the other three? Is it a case of god-forbid-we-interfere-with-football?

yup

I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a horse as blindingly white as Arthur’s Ride. :sunglasses:

yes it is because of football. God forbid something they nursed along from the start interfere with cha ching college football. At least, those who have internet or cable can watch all the rest.

Bummed for City Of Troy, but Sierra Leone was so overdue for a big win.

City Of Troy did not care for the kickback, I think.

yeah, and he got a bad break. Dawdled at the start. That is too bad.

It looks like Sierra Leone wore a cage bit with a double twisted wire mouthpiece. Whatever it was, he ran honestly, no diving for the rail.

When someone says they’ll run their champion at four, it usually means they’ll go for the Pegasus and then he’s done. That’s a race I’d love to see meet its demise.

Super nice run by Moira

She’s entered in the Fasig-Tipton sale Monday night; add another million or two to the final bid.

I am so tickled by the Canadian mare named Moira.
