Just an FYI, if you switch to HRTV for the actual race, you will get the Trevor Denman call.
Having a bit of woes using an iPhone to reply yes I was trying to say neither mare is being pulled back from auction. Each was to be sent off with a win and a kiss from their owners for all they have done.
Here comes The Fugue!!
Well, I was early on watching HRTV. I clicked over about 2 pm to see if they had switched over yet, and they hadn’t. I watched that race on HR, and didn’t see the fall thank God. When I had switched, I pulled up what was listed, and on NBCSP or what ever it is called they had listed Football! When it got closer, H racing was listed. I think they did jump in. I don’t mind Donna, but I HATE it when anyone asks how do you feel right now? I don’t know, I switch back to HR so I don’t have to listen to the post race interviews.
I love little Mike.
Come on, I swear Ryan Moore is the most unemotional rider I’ve seen speak. He could win the Powerball lottery and reply “that’s nice”. It was a great win on the magician over the fugue. Why didn’t I do a euro exacta … Augh!

Yes, he’s the proverbial damp squib… give me someone like Frankie Dettori any day.
But there is no doubting he is a great jockey, and that was a fantastic ride.
And what a training performance from Aidan O’Brien, horse hadn’t raced since June, and had never run 12f before. Top class, he knows his horses.

I had Little Mike in 3rd
Between the saddle squeaking, tack and clothing rattling and rubbing, the horse blowing and the jockey panting trying to speak, frequently with a heavy accent? I could do without the pony back interview…and I miss Charlsie Cantey.
I am back on too. Have recovered but watching thru fingers and holding breath. Some pretty exciting finishes in most of these races and Santa Anita is as gorgeous as the horses.
I’ve got nothing in this next race but I’m it’s hard to go against Baffert and secret circle on the SA track. It would be nice if an oldtimer like Justin Phillip ( although I’m so not a zatat supporter at all) would take it. He’s been around forever …
Maybe want to include Baffert in your exactas after Secret Circle. Day started horrible for him but has sure turned around.
Oh, BUMMER JV is in surgery for a ruptured spleen. Not life or career threatening but going to set him down for awhile.
The Magician got in the way of my The Fugue/Indy Point exacta.
Keep missing wins/exactas with an unplanned horse getting in front. But enjoying the day. Fortunate to have been on the road, listening to the Juvenile Fillies on Sirius so missed the fall. And just now they say JR just went into surgery to have his spleen removed.
Miss Dominguez, but very glad to have Gary Stevens back.
Taking out the spleen isn’t exactly a minor job. Best wishes for JV and his recovery. Charlie must be a bit worried with Jose assuming the seat aboard Dan.
Oh my gosh! Poor John.
How much did entertainment host Billy Bush weight? With racing saddle and street clothes was it really 184-lbs? Or have I had too much Makers Mark?

He’s ridden him several times
Glimmerglass, I fast forwarded through that part. I did however rewind to rewatch Richie Sambora. Hubby, who is a guitarist, thought that was stupid. I thought it was fun. But, I’ve been a Bon Jovi fan since 8th grade.
Wise dan!!!
HOY Wise Dan!!
Best wishes to johnny.
He should be. What a beautiful freak he is.
Yay! I wonder if any of the connections will send any of their winnings to Velasquez, just as a gesture. Certainly don’t expect it, but I wondered listening to the connections talk about him.
